Please join us for a discussion with Kelly O’Neill of her paper, “Our Women for Your Salt: The Structure and Significance of the Black Sea Slave Trade after 1774.”  Kelly O’Neill is Assistant Professor of History, Harvard University.

We will discuss the paper, “Russians Writing Russian History: Western Models and the National Question in Late Imperial Historiography,” with Frances Nethercott, Lecturer in Russian History at St. Andrews University and Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton University.
